The artwork invites reflection on our desire to seek refuge in a safe space, sheltered from the storm. But the question arises: is it truly a refuge or a cage?

The visible traces left behind seem to suggest someone who has stayed in that position for a long time. Is it society that forces us into these confined spaces, or do we seek a protective shell, even at the cost of becoming trapped?

The piece becomes a meditation on our relationship with solitude and the fine line between protection and imprisonment.
